Movie Poster Monday: Never Let Me Go

It wasn't as easy to pick a poster this week, but I like this one for Never Let Me Go, which comes out on September 15. I don't know a whole lot about the movie, and that's mostly intentional. I know some basics of the plot, but it sounds like the kind of film that needs its surprises unspoiled. For that reason, I have no clue if the scene depicted in this poster has some kind of significance, but it's beautiful, isn't it? I love seaside architecture, especially those pier pavilions.

I also like the lighting here and the soft colors. It's very different from the harshness of Mark Romanek's One Hour Photo (which I loved), and I think it'll be a great fit for the tone of the film, as I understand it. My favorite thing about the poster is the typography. I don't get the significance of the broken letters in "Go" yet, but I'm definitely intrigued.
